Central Registration

East Hartford Public Schools Department of Central Registration is committed to ensuring that every child residing within the school district is registered for school, including students who are homeless, have recently immigrated from other countries, and/or speak limited English.

New Student Registration:

After registering online, you must make an appointment to visit the Central Registration Office located at 734 Tolland Street to provide the required documentation to complete the registration process. The staff will be able to assist you if a referral for a translator or health services is necessary.

 

Kindergarten Registration:
Begins on February 1st


Who Needs To Register:

  • New students entering East Hartford Public Schools in grades PreK - 12
  • Students accepted to Connecticut IB Academy (CIBA)
  • Students currently attending and/or accepted to a Magnet, Parochial, or Private School who are East Hartford Residents

Free School Meals

Students attending East Hartford Public Schools will participate in the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) and will receive free school meals through the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and the School Breakfast Program (SBP). Household applications for Free/Reduced meals are no longer required.
